In this last example the patient had been cleared of any malignancy by mammography, ultrasound and MRI three weeks prior to this thermographic study. The thermogram clearly shows malignancy on the right. Following additional testing after the thermogram, the finding of two malignant areas was confirmed, plus involvement of the centinal node. The thermogram and temperature findings clarified the presence of the malignancy in this study allowing this patient to get earlier treatment.
