Written by Barbara A. Britt and George E. Chapman in 1982, revised in 1987 and 2007. This book was the first comprehensive technique manual ever written on the subject of thermography, providing specific guidelines for both liquid crystal and telethermographic applications. Manual includes a full historical overview of clinical thermography, physics and human dynamics, room size, positioning guidelines for breast, Neuromusculoskeletal films and Celphalic studies. The techniques and protocols described within the text provide scientification and reproducibility of thermal images and have been adopted by most organizations providing thermographic training. Book is filled with photographs with reference to correct positioning and optional techniques.

Written by Barbara A. Britt and George E. Chapman. Published in 1984, revised 1987 and 2006. Induces flow charts and diagrams regarding the neurophysiological cause/ theories of pain and pain syndromes, as they are associated with thermal imaging. Additional chapters include Gate Control Theory, Endogenous Opioid Peptides, Neuropathies, Nerve Irritation Patterns, Spinal Segmental Dysfunction and Reviews the various Classifications for Thermal Imaging. Clinical Thermography III. Diagnostic Manual
Written and illustrated by George E. Chapman. Published in 1984, revised in 1987. This is the only diagnostic manual for thermal imaging ever produced. Manual contains multiple illustrations for full body thermographic evaluations for LCT and Telethermography. Also includes special sections for Cephalic, Breast, Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction, and organic referral patterns seen in thermography.

Clinical Thermography IV: A Collection of Monographs
Written and illustrated by George E. Chapman, with photography by Barbara A. Britt. Original publication 1986, book has been revised many times with the last revision in 2004. This is a collection of various articles written by Dr. Chapman and published in trade and professional magazines. There are Thirteen Chapters in this monograph series with topics ranging from a Historical Overview of Thermology, Physiological Basis of Pain Syndromes, Medical Necessity Guidelines, Biomechanical Impropriety of the Spine, Neuropathies, Visceral Referral Patterns, Acupuncture and Pain Modulation, Cephalic and TMJ Thermal Imaging, Breast Thermography and Sports Injuries. Designed to provide a review of breast thermography and to be utilized as a study guide for report preparation. Reports are presented with color thermograms within the body of each report.

Written by George E. Chapman and Barbara A. Britt. CTA Publications, 1987 and revised 2004. Manual contains laboratory practicum sections, forms, work sheets and general concept notes. Provides the student with a specific format to follow for laboratory applications during the FOT program.

Clinical Thermography VII: Medical–Legal Manual
Introduction and synopsis of legal positions written by Barbara A. Britt and George E. Chapman. Published in 1983, revised 1994 and 2009. Manual is a collection of papers, regarding specific issues using clinical thermography. It is presented as an historical perspective with documents relative to thermography dating back to 1972. Manual includes governmental position papers (state and federal); American organizational position papers with individual comments; procedural and diagnostic coding for thermography; and legal citations and opinions regarding thermography. Includes specific papers, uncut and un-revised, which are excellent for legal reviews of various state and federal positions regarding thermography. Manual contains multiple illustrations and photographs in full color for breast thermographic evaluations utilizing LCT and Telethermographic units. Reviews technique, protocol, historical perspectives, scoring, interpretation techniques and reporting findings.
